NaTisha is a community leader, and I’ve found her to be an inspirational speaker and wonderful thought partner.

Our students' involvement in the Black Student Leadership Retreat at San Diego City College was life-changing for many of them. One student noted that she understands "conflict's health-restoring possibilities" from our time with NaTisha. Another student who also participates in our campus student government team said she "had more tools to use during conflict" and that it was the best event she had attended in that semester (and we put on a lot of events). Another student noted that she was “re-imagining our entire justice system” after spending time with NaTisha. Throughout the leadership retreat, NaTisha urged students to use situations from real life. She also skillfully led sensitive discussions and provided practical guidance that the students might implement in their daily lives.

NaTisha's presence, material and facilitation were not only impactful but also deeply encouraging for our students as they learn how to become leaders on their campus and in their communities.

"NaTisha is a talented educator and powerful restorative justice practitioner. Her passion for transforming the systems that serve our most vulnerable communities and students is made evident through her insightful lectures and training workshops. NaTisha is a staple guest lecturer for my Restorative Practices and Conflict Transformation graduate course at San Diego State University. Her wealth of knowledge and extensive experience always sparks meaningful engagement with the complexities of restorative justice practices, inspiring students to embrace their ability to become restorative agents of change in their own right. I highly recommend NaTisha to anyone seeking to understand and implement restorative justice practices effectively. Her passion, expertise, and commitment to the integrity of restorative justice work are inspiring to witness."

"I had the honor to have NaTisha come and share her expertise in Restorative Justice Practice with my doctoral program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I thoroughly enjoyed her presentation, connecting restorative justice and environmental justice for community healing. Her thought provoking and curious questions make her all the more a super star for all things Restorative Justice in my book!"

"The tremendous energy NaTisha spent coordinating systems, assuaging anxieties, and promoting equity to an audience of faculty and staff that was largely doubtful of restorative justice, was admirable to witness. The fact that she was able to experience success in the institutionalization of restorative justice practices on our campus is a testament to her unwavering commitment to transforming school communities, for the better ."

"As a professional mediator and mediation trainer, I can say without a doubt that NaTisha is a true professional and an expert in Restorative Justice in schools. While I was at the Center for Human Development, my fellow conflict resolution managers and I took her RJ training when she managed the program at SEEDS. Not only is she a competent RJ practitioner, she also conducts trainings and circle processes with a charismatic and calm presence."

"NaTisha brings a refreshing and impactful approach to educational facilitation through live-learning, empathy, practicality, and restoration. The ways that she incorporates live learning during her sessions are particularly noteworthy, as they allow participants to engage and express themselves through multiple modalities. This flexible and inclusive approach ensures that everyone can find their own path to understanding and growth. During the sessions that I participated in, I observed NaTisha display a profound sense of empathy. She has an exceptional ability to connect with participants, understanding their backgrounds and emotions. This not only helps participants feel valued and understood but also strengthens their sense of self-worth and community belonging. NaTisha's workshops stand out for their action-oriented design. Each session is structured to provide practical applications, ensuring that participants can immediately use what they have learned. This focus on real-world applicability makes her workshops highly effective and beneficial. Finally, a key element of NaTisha's methodology is her commitment to a restorative justice framework. This approach ensures that every participant is seen and heard, fostering a courageous and inclusive atmosphere. By prioritizing the principle that everyone matters, she creates a learning environment where all voices are valued and respected. I highly recommend NaTisha Hutson and would love to contract her again!"

"I highly recommend NaTisha as a facilitator for and curator of courageous and restorative spaces. I partnered with her to lead a learning opportunity for students during Black Student Success Week at Las Positas College. Her unique blend of lived experience and professional expertise, particularly in restorative justice and counseling, empowered students to lead with empathy and inclusivity. She adeptly guided participants in the Black Student Leadership Symposium, fostering a culture of radical love, accountability, and community. The students raved about their experience and our staff were eager to engage as well. NaTisha was such a value-add to our programming!"

"NaTisha Hutson from Restorative Impact led an exceptional workshop on conflict resolution for our program staff. Our organization interacts with a diverse range of clients, families, students, faculty, and community members, necessitating updated policies and training in conflict management. NaTisha's interactive and engaging training, which was adapted to include small group discussions and realistic role-playing scenarios for my team to work through, allowed us to directly troubleshoot  challenges specific to our organization. We left the workshop equipped with practical tools and strategies for immediate implementation and clear guidance on updating our internal conflict management policies."

"NaTisha offered invaluable assistance to my program, helping me find effective ways to support students with handling conflicts constructively, with their instructors on campus and the social services professionals they regularly interacted with. These are critical life skills for former foster youth- a very vulnerable, yet resilient student population. Learning to manage their emotions, especially in challenging situations, is something that will benefit them throughout their lives."

"It was an absolute pleasure to have Ms. Hutson on our campus to share about the transformative concepts around Restorative Justice and its ability to impact all faces of campus interaction. Through a series that examined and informed increased success in
terms of faculty interaction with students, Student services interactions with students, and how to holistically serve Black students, Ms. Hutson gave our campus tools that will serve as foundational components in our toolkit to ramp up student success. A consummate professional that can truly impact organizational change if given the
chance!"
